CCH 2011 Holiday Party

by admin on January 23, 2012

Our holiday party was a fun time for families to gather together, grandparents, uncles, aunts and lots of children running through the house. Lots of food brought by parents which all tasted very good. There was laughter and noise. Then the lights dimmed and our little angels came out to stand in front of the tree.

CCH Christmas Angels

Our Angels sang beautifully!

They sang a selection of songs they had learned and practiced for the last month. Everyone was thrilled. No matter how many times I hear those voices I never get tire of it. It is a lovely melody.

What a wonderful feeling of togetherness when we all, parents and children, sat down to a Thanksgiving dinner, where the children had helped prepare all the dishes. It was a feast of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, sweet potatoes. and of course pumpkin pie.

We had cooked for two days with the children’s help. Then on the day we set the table with our Thanksgiving plates and napkins and candlesticks. It looked very festive. No one wanted to leave, but of course the kids needed their naps.
